Dreamforce 2025 Was All About Agentic AI

Dreamforce 2025 delivered one of the boldest shifts we’ve seen from Salesforce in years. If you work in CX, contact centers, CRM, or enterprise architecture - this week’s announcements signal a new era: the Agentic Enterprise.

The biggest takeaways shaping the future of work, productivity, and customer engagement:

1. The Agentic Enterprise Vision
Salesforce is moving past the “copilot” mindset. We’re now talking about AI partners embedded in every role, driving “24/7 intelligence” - where leads aren’t missed, service never sleeps, and end-to-end processes become semi-autonomous. This is a structural shift in how organizations will operate.

2. Agentforce 360 - Salesforce Goes Beyond CRM
Last year we saw Agentforce emerge. This year, it became a full platform. Agentforce 360 connects: AI Agents; Data (via Data 360, formerly Data Cloud); Customer 360 apps (now renamed Agentic Sales, Agent Marketing, Agentforce Service, etc.); and Slack. This is now the four-ingredient recipe for the Agentic Enterprise.

3. Slack Becomes the Agentic OS
Slack isn’t just a collaboration tool anymore - it’s the front end for AI agents across the enterprise. Employees (and agents) can now search, collaborate, trigger workflows, and automate actions without leaving Slack. This is the conversational interface for the enterprise.

4. Apromore Acquisition
Salesforce quietly added something huge: full-spectrum process intelligence. With Apromore, customers get visibility from keystrokes to global workflows - enabling end-to-end automation and trusted AI-driven optimization. This will accelerate agentic process automation across service, sales, IT, HR, and more.

5. Salesforce x OpenAI
A deepened partnership brings: GPT-5 and frontier models directly into Agentforce 360; Tableau insights, sales data, and customer conversations accessible inside ChatGPT; A new ChatGPT app for Slack; Instant Checkout for Agentforce Commerce via the Agentic Commerce Protocol;  and unified AI workflows.

Dreamforce 2025 was a strategic repositioning of Salesforce as the operating system for agentic work - blending AI, data, and collaboration into one cohesive ecosystem.
