The inevitable change is here

For the last 20 years, contact center technology has been about one thing: connection.
Connect the customer to the right agent, connect the agent to the right information, connect the CRM to the telephony platform.
Every CTI integration. Every Salesforce Service Cloud deployment. Every project we've delivered has been built around that same principle.
It's still a huge challenge. But something has changed. The question our clients are increasingly asking is no longer:
"How do we route this interaction better?"
It's:
"Does this interaction need a human at all?"
Agentic AI—systems that can understand a situation, reason through it, take action, and complete tasks autonomously—is changing the shape of the contact center.
Not by replacing people. By redefining what people should focus on.
Looking back, we've spent years building the foundations for this moment: structured CRM data, reliable telephony integrations, and well-designed service processes. At the time, we were solving integration challenges. Today, we realize we were also preparing the infrastructure that autonomous AI agents require.
Over the coming months, we'll share what we're learning as we help organizations navigate this transition: what agentic AI means and what Salesforce Agentforce actually enables.
No hype. Just practical insights from a team that's been building contact center platforms for more than two decades.
If these are the conversations you're starting to have internally, we'd love to compare notes.
